Summary
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee fabrication activities for HVAC and MEP projects, with a strong focus on ducting, supports, and related metal works. The role involves managing workshop and site fabrication teams, ensuring accuracy in fabrication as per drawings, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with site execution teams for smooth installation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in HVAC duct fabrication, structural supports, and site installation coordination.
Key Responsibilities
• Fabrication Supervision: Supervise fabrication of HVAC ducting, supports, hangers, and related MEP metal works as per approved drawings and specifications
• Workshop & Site Coordination: Manage fabrication activities in workshop and coordinate with site teams for installation and alignment requirements
• Quality Control: Ensure all fabricated items meet required standards, dimensions, and quality specifications before dispatch or installation
• Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret HVAC and MEP fabrication drawings, sketches, and layouts to guide fabrication teams
• Material Management: Monitor material usage, minimize wastage, and ensure proper handling and storage of fabrication materials
• Site Coordination Support: Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to ensure fabricated components fit accurately during installation
• Progress Monitoring: Track fabrication progress and ensure timely delivery of fabricated items as per project schedule
Experience & Qualifications
• Diploma or Technical Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in HVAC duct fabrication or MEP fabrication works
• Strong hands-on knowledge of duct fabrication, cladding, supports, and metal works
• Ability to read and understand fabrication and installation drawings
• Experience in workshop and site coordination
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• GCC experience in HVAC/MEP projects preferred
