Site Supervisor – E&I

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to oversee on-site installation, testing, and coordination of electrical and instrumentation works across industrial and MEP projects. The role requires strong hands-on field experience in electrical systems, cable laying, panel installation, and basic instrumentation works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring quality execution, coordinating with engineers, and maintaining progress as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• E&I Site Supervision: Supervise installation of electrical systems including cable laying, containment, termination, panel installation, and grounding works
• Instrumentation Works Supervision: Oversee installation of field instruments such as sensors, transmitters, and related instrumentation accessories
• Site Execution Control: Manage daily site activities, labor teams, and subcontractors to ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications
• Drawing & Scope Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and layouts for proper execution
• Testing & Inspection Support: Assist in testing, pre-commissioning, and inspection activities to ensure system readiness and compliance
• MEP Coordination: Coordinate E&I works with mechanical, HVAC, and other MEP disciplines to ensure smooth integration on site
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track site progress, report daily activities, and highlight issues or delays to project engineers

Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) site supervision
• Strong hands-on experience in electrical installation works (cabling, panels, termination, grounding)
• Basic-to-intermediate knowledge of instrumentation systems and field devices
• Ability to read electrical and instrumentation drawings and site layouts
• Strong site management, coordination, and leadership skills
• GCC experience in industrial or MEP/E&I projects preferred
