Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Projects & Sales Engineer to develop new business opportunities and manage electrical project execution from initial client engagement through to final handover. The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, along with solid experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works, estimation, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, conducting site visits, preparing quotations, managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Business Development & Sales: Identify and secure new electrical and E&I project opportunities, conduct site visits, engage clients, and convert inquiries into awarded projects
• Technical Requirement Analysis: Understand project scope, site conditions, and client requirements for electrical, E&I, and specialized electrical works to develop practical and cost-effective solutions
• Cost Estimation & Quotation: Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and competitive quotations for electrical, E&I, and specialized electrical works including materials, labor, and execution scope
• Project Execution Coordination: Manage awarded electrical and E&I projects, coordinate with site teams and supervisors, and ensure smooth execution as per approved drawings and specifications
• Site Supervision & Progress Monitoring: Conduct site visits, monitor progress of electrical and E&I works, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained
• Client & Commercial Management: Handle client communication, technical clarifications, variations, invoicing coordination, and follow up for timely payments
Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in electrical contracting, projects, or MEP industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, cabling, panels, and installations
• Good working experience and understanding of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) systems
• Experience in specialized electrical works and industrial project execution preferred
• Proven experience in sales, estimation, and project execution
• Ability to read electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills
• GCC experience preferred
